Beautiful jewelry!

Jennifer A. Ray on May-28-2008
A wonderfully sweet friend recently sent me a beautiful earring and bracelet set, totally unexpectedly.

I was very pleasantly surprised, and she couldn’t have made a better choice for me if I had picked them out myself.  In fact, I kicked myself the moment I opened them as I have the perfect work ensemble to wear them with, and I had just worn that outfit the previous day.

I had to wait a WHOLE week to wear it again!!!  LOL  Torture, I tell you…  The men might laugh at this point, but the women reading undoubtedly know that feeling.

You can see me in the photo on the left modelling the bracelet and earrings at work last week.

My friend put a note in the package saying that her daughter made this special for me, which delighted me even further.

And then I noticed the business card in the little jewelry box it arrived in.  Turns out, my friend’s daughter has an online store where she sells these!

So, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to blog about the jewelry and her store.  Jessica has some darlin pieces there, and the set I received are just beautiful.

Check out her webstore at www.littleblossomdesigns.com!  This one is already in my bookmarks!

New Amazon Vine Reviews – Movies, Cosmetics, and a CD!

Jennifer A. Ray on Apr-8-2008

Hi All!

I have a few new reviews I’ve posted for Amazon Vine recently.  I enjoyed a couple of movies, tried some blush I didn’t much care for, listened to a good singer in a mediocre album, and found that I prefer my Neutrogena Rejuvenator to the Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser.

With no further adieu…

Reviews: Harmony One Remote & Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara

Jennifer A. Ray on Feb-3-2008

I received two new products in January to review for Amazon Vine. I liked both a lot, although each had some room for improvement. Still, if I had purchased these myself, I wouldn’t feel as if my money were wasted, so that is good. In fact, I would buy both of these myself.

The first item is the Logitech Harmony One Remote control. I have a previous model, the Logitech Harmony 880 Remote, and loved it, so I fully expected to enjoy the Harmony One. I was not disappointed. Read the review to see how I liked the Harmony One.

I’ve used Loreal’s Lash Out mascara for years, but am always eager to try a new mascara if it means longer, thicker lashes. I had some disappointment with the tube for this one, but liked the formula and the brush enough that I will purchase this when I need more mascara. Read my review to see what I thought of Revlon’s 3D Extreme Mascara.

And, as always, here are links to my all of reviews for Amazon Vine:

Have a wonderful night!

Jennifer A. Ray on Jan-18-2008

In December 2007, Amazon Vine sent me the
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Rejuvenator, The Anti Aging Power Treatment Kit to review. I had been wanting to try microderma-brasion or something similar for a while, so I was very pleased to review this item.

You can read my review for the

Gorgeous Hand-crafted Jewelry!

Jennifer A. Ray on Jan-8-2008

Diane, a friend of mine, has opened a fabulous online jewelry store in partnership with her mother, Betty. Every piece is hand-made by them and you can tell by the workmanship that they love what they do. This was a hobby for them that they’ve now been able to turn into a business, and I applaud them soundly for following their dreams and doing what they love!

Each piece of jewelry is a little work of art, and they lovingly name them something special and descriptive. I have seen their work up close and personal and can avow to the fact that it looks just as good, if not better, in real life as it does in the photos on their site!

You can visit their store, All Jewelry Great and Small to purchase their jewelry. Don’t forget to stop by their blog, where they look for feedback, interaction, and inspiration.

I’ve posted some of my favorite pieces below, and I can tell you I will be ordering some new jewelry very soon… :-) The pictures below are linked to that item’s page at All Jewelry Great and Small, so just click that picture if you want to learn more about that piece.

I fell for this darling little bracelet the moment I saw it! They call it Peacock Feathers. Perfect, don’t you think?

Royal Red I is just gorgeous. And red works year-round!

Of course, since turquoise is a favorite of mine, this necklace and earring set calls to me irresistibly! They call this one Chip Off the Old Block.

I love Russian Jade - it goes with many of my winter clothes!

This bracelet and earring set is called Funny Girl. I love the color and the whimsy of this one!
